The mission of this newsletter is clear: to keep the public informed about ongoing research, facilitate exchanges between researchers and producers, and ensure that science responds in a concrete way to their needs and those of their herds.

Coordinated by Op+lait, with the participation of several students and postdoctoral researchers from Université de Montréal, the booth presents the basic concepts of biosecurity in a fun and accessible way to the general public.

Congratulations to Marie-Pascale Morin (PhD student, Université de Montréal) for winning second prize in Transfert Op+lait 2024 and second prize in the annual Arts & Sciences KT contest organized by Sciences 101 (UQAM), 2023-2024 edition! 

Since 2024, this science communication competition has provided an opportunity for undergraduate (DVM) and graduate students (MSc, PhD, residency, internship), as well as postdoctoral researchers from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal, to present their research projects in one or two minutes to participants in Research Week.

Written and illustrated with humour, this original comic strip highlights the contribution of researchers and veterinarians from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Université de Montréal and members of the Op+lait cluster in the fight against antibiotic resistance.

The Farm Point platform is now online. It will provide information on sustainable development in Quebec's agricultural sector.

Marjorie Cellier is in charge of this news channel, where she will debunk rumors and shed light on the most surprising curiosities about the animal world.
